How having an event gets you closer to your ideal client
Since January, I’ve been planning a live event that’s happening in early June. I want to fill it. My goal is to have 70 attendees who want to attend and learn from me for 3 days. It’s an undertaking. It’s all consuming. It’s a full time job. It takes focus. And it has literally forced me to get BRAVE, get OUT THERE and talk to EVERYONE.
Since January, I’ve been to at least one Networking Event and often 2 per week. I’ve spoken to hundreds of coaches, therapists and healers about joining me on June 9-11, 2017 in Connecticut for Coaching Business Mastery Live! I’m going to be teaching and workshopping how I grew my business from hit or miss in 2015 to enrolling a steady stream of new clients (between 5-10 each month) and how I’ve cut my work hours in half at the same time.
Here’s what I found out…
Some of the people I spoke with even though they say they want a steady stream of clients, really don’t.
Some of the people I spoke with even though they say they want to hit six-figures, really don’t.
Some of the people I spoke with even though they say they want to learn from me, really don’t.
And that’s OKAY. It’s all OKAY. Because as I get to know people through inviting them to my event, I am getting closer and closer to identifying my ideal client. And the people who have registered are super excited about attending and I can’t wait to meet many of them for the first time!
