There’s no such thing as Brilliance = Success

You know what’s the absolute worst? Knowing you are smart but it’s not making a bit of difference in your success as a business owner.

There’s a lot of that going around. In fact, over the years, I’ve coached a number of coaches, therapists and healers who were BRILLIANT. I’ve coached people who have degrees in astrophysics,  graduated law school at the top of their class, were high ranking members of corporations, could do any techy thing on the internet.

BUT when it came to signing up clients their IQs had little to do with their success.

In fact… it HURT them.

Why? Because they treated their business as something to be researched, spent hours online, created websites, sales pages, funnels, felt they needed to get just one more certification, buried their heads in the next best business book, went to seminar after seminar soaking up every morsel of knowledge they could find.

AND…

What they weren’t doing was – talking to people and personally offering their programs. And that my friend was their downfall.

Your education has nothing to do with your success. I’ve worked with others who had little, if no advanced degrees… and they now have thriving BIG businesses because they love people.

It’s time to get out of the weeds and on the phone. Stop buying more programs.
